Lochte and Soni were named Male and Female Athlete of the Year during the star-studded gala held at the Beverly Hilton.
Hardy crowned 2009 World Cup champ Mon, 23 Nov 2009 American swimmer Jessica Hardy was crowned the women’s 2009 FINA World Cup Champion Sunday in Singapore, taking home circuit’s $100,000 grand prize. Fellow American Peter Marshall finished third in the overall standings on the men’s side, winning $30,000 for his efforts.
